PARKLEX FACADE
Stratified high-density timber panel for internal and external applications
PARKLEX FACADE is a stratified high-density timber panel, formed internally with kraft paper or wood fibres treated with phenolic thermoset resins and compressed at high pressure and temperatures.
It creates a new, innovative architectural solution that allows for a panel finish for external (bakelised) and internal use. This panel is generally fastened onto a metal or timber batten structure, providing a decorative finish that also acts as a rain screen.
The surface is always 100% natural wood and has been developed to withstand the special demands of environments exposed to the elements, where it is subjected to the action of atmospheric agents such as rain, extreme sunlight, wind, snow, etc.
PARRKLEX FACADE panels have undergone rigorous testing to guarantee top-class performance in use.
PARKLEX FACADE panels exceed the requirements of CAN/ULC S-134 and are certified as an acceptable exterior cladding for non-compustible construction.
PARKLEX 700 panels are now CAN/ULC S-102 Tested with an impressive Flame Spread rating of 5 and a Smoke Development rating of 25!
