QUILITE TRANSLUCENT NOISE BARRIER QUILITE Noise Barrier panels have the appearance of glass block and allow sunlight to pass through decreasing the "prison wall" effect created by solid concrete barriers. QUILITE walls can be combined with concrete and other materials, creating unique architectural alternatives with excellent noise reduction. QUILITE reduces both transmition noise (passing through the wall) and reverberation noise (echo). The noise reduction features are designed right into the shape of QUILITE, therefore it will never loose it's ability to diffuse and absorb noise. QUILITE's excellent performance is confirmed by laboratory testing and "real-life" field measurements. Because of it's textured surface, vandals rarely choose to leave their mark on QUILITE, but if they do, graffiti is easily washed away with hot water. Unlike most clear plastics, the polycarbonate plastic used in QUILITE has 200 times greater resistance to impact than glass and it maintains it's durability from -40 to +200 degrees Fahrenheit.
